This past Earth Day, Main Beach Park in Fernandina, Florida, hosted an event called Earth Day Turtle Fest. Amy Beach, founder and director of Beach Junki, wanted to hold an educational event to provide safety tips and information about sea turtles, as well as how we can help keep their habitats safe. Volunteers came together and helped make this vision a reality. The event featured live music and a variety of vendors offering items ranging from glass-blown wall art of sea turtles to beach accessories, food, and crafts. It was a fantastic event supporting a great cause. Our business, Card My Yard Amelia Island, owned by Joanna Cook, donated a beautiful sign for the event that read "Earth Day Turtle Fest." Giving back to the community brings us immense joy here at Card My Yard.
