FPL, better known as Florida Power & Light Company, has a wonderful program where they grant $50,000 to five schools each. FPL believes in promoting innovation and technology in schools. Their grant program supports K-12 schools that require advancements in facilities, such as buildings or necessary equipment for teachers, technology, and STEM education. Card My Yard assisted in announcing the winning schools in an extravagant manner by placing a "Grant Winner" sign outside each winning school.
