Carter has been waiting a year to find his match for a life-saving bone marrow transplant, so naturally, his Georgia community came together to give him a huge send off! Carter will spend 100 days in the hospital with his transplant scheduled for the end of August. He suffers from a rare but serious blood condition called Aplastic Anemia, where his bone marrow cannot make enough new blood cells for his body to work normally.
