While snorkeling in a coral reef on August 13th in the Lower Florida Keys, 11 year old Jameson Reeder Jr. was attacked by a shark. Jameson was immediately flown to a Miami Children’s Hospital and had surgery where they had to amputate one of his legs. After a long few months Jameson was able to go home to Huntersville, North Carolina, on December 18th, just in time for Christmas. Escorted home by the Huntersville Police Department, he was welcomed by a beautiful sign from Marissa Gilbert, owner of Card My Yard Lake Norman.
