Why buy a franchise and not a license?
As the franchisor (Card My Yard Franchising), we have created a system and platform to ensure
quality and consistency across all of our locations. We comply with all state and federal
franchise law, and maintain a Franchise Disclosure Document to describe in detail the
business
opportunity you are considering. These rigorous steps help you make an informed decision
about
your investment. As a franchisee, you will be protected by your franchise agreement and the
Federal Trade Commission that regulates Card My Yard Franchising.
How does the process work?
Once you complete the join our team form, we will verify if you live in an eligible area. If
you
qualify, we will send you an application and schedule some time to talk. Once the interview
is
complete and both parties want to proceed, you will receive the Franchise Disclosure
Document to
review the opportunity for a minimum of 14 days. Once this is complete a Franchise Agreement
is
sent and signed. Next onboarding and training begin and in about 4 weeks your location will
be
open and ready for business.
How long does it take to open the business?
Once you receive the FDD it can take as a little as six weeks to be up and running.
Will you be there for me while I am running
my
business?
Absolutely! We are invested in your location and truly want you to be successful. We have
hundreds of locations that are up and running. They will be a resource for you as well as
Card
My Yard Franchising. We also have an extensive technology suite in place to help you operate
and
grow your business. We will also be here to pray for your location.
Do I need an LLC or Corporation?
It is not a requirement to form a business entity to purchase a franchise but it is
recommended.
What if I don’t live in the Protected Area?
You are buying a business and need to be invested in the community around you. We typically
require franchisees to live in their protected area so they can perform at a high level of
service.
